The 2010 Flower School Curriculum launches....

Rachel Lilley announces the 2010 Flower School curriculum. If you're looking for a creative outlet or quite simply a few hours of scented pleasure then we suggest booking on to one, (or all!) of our half day courses. For 2010 we have introduced our new 'Flower Foam Arranging' course a great new skill for beginners and experienced alike.      

For those budding florists amongst you we are introducing a 1 week foundation course to learn the basics of floristry or as an appetizer to the 4 week career course. We are also offering a 1 week bridal course that will enable all students to carry out simple weddings with great style.

        

Demonstrations 

After developing our expertise in local and national events we're now offering demonstrations for corporate and private parties, large or small, day or evening.

This month we launch Cherry Pie Cupcakes a brand new venture for Rachel Lilley. Our first Cherry Pie Cupcake decorating course will take place at the Royal Crescent Hotel on the 6th of October. You're guaranteed a sugary sweet morning of sprinkles and sparkles!! 

We'll be launching our very own Cherry Pie Cupcake website with lots of fun ideas and recipes for you try at home.

Another addition to our expanding school curriculum is the Gift Wrapping course. In time for Christmas this course takes place at the Royal Crescent hotel on the 12th of November. We promise you'll have as much fun learning how to wrap your presents as you will buying them!

Rachel trained with Jane Means, a gift wrap expert of 10 years. Jane's portfolio includes Selfridges, The White Company and even the Queen!

Rachel Lilley and her team created stunning floral designs to compliment their Hollywood glamour-themed wedding day. Congratulations to Katherine and Alex who were married last weekend at the beautiful wedding venue St Audries Park in West Quantoxhead. Katherine and Alex were married in the Orangery decorated with scented 

peonies and vintage roses... we promise to bring you photographs of their special day very soon.

Welcome to the very first edition of the Rachel Lilley blog!

I wanted to launch my blog primarily to set the record straight...

Back in April I made the decision to close my store on Walcot Street. I want to dispel the rumors that my business has closed. On the contrary both the wedding business and the Rachel Lilley Flower School are to use a cliche, positively 'blooming'.     

The closure of the Rachel Lilley store has everything to do with the spectacular number of wedding bookings we have and the realization that in order to give 110% to our brides something had to give. We pride ourselves on the service and quality that we offer each and everyone of our brides however large or small their wedding. By keeping the store open we would have run the risk of a deterioration in our service and that simply wasn't acceptable.       

Congratulations to each and every one of our 20 couples married in the months of May and June!

We look forward to working with all our July brides and will post a selection of images of their happy days in august! 

Although we have a very full wedding diary for 2009 we do still have free days so please do contact us if you would like to arrange a consultation.

The Rachel Lilley flower school continues to go from strength to strength with the introduction of the 4 week Career Course earlier on this year. Charlotte Watson a March student has just launched her own on line flower business, good luck Charlotte!
